I went here after a week long visit to Iceland. Every restaurant I went to I felt as though I was overcharged for my meal. When I saw the menu at Kaffi Duus I thought, “here we go again.” However, this was the best meal that I ate in Iceland and also the largest. I couldn’t believe how good the food was, and how much I got. I ordered the Sailors Platter and I strongly recommend it. The fish was cooked perfectly. The chef really knew what he was doing. The service was great. My only negative comment, and believe me when I say I had to fish hard for this one, is that a couple pieces of sweet potato were just slightly underdone. But if that is the worst thing to say about a place then I would say that’s pretty darn good.

A great restaurant with amazing food and decent prices. Had Minke Whale, which was my favorite, and a seafood sampler platter, which was also excellent. For dessert, Creme Brûlée and ice cream with chocolate and nuts and fruit. I also sampled a friend’s lamb chops–spectacular. If you’re looking for a nice meal in the Keflavik area, Kaffi Duus is the place.
